Three-customer founding validation · one-time paid pilot
PUBLIC SIGNAL WORKS

Commercial Opening Radar

Find current fire-protection project signals without searching city portals.

A bounded two-week concierge pilot for commercial sprinkler and standpipe contractors serving the City of Toronto or New York City’s five boroughs. We filter recent public filings and deliver a small reviewable list—not a generic permit dump.

What happens

From public filing to reviewable signal.

01 · FILTER

We review application-stage permit and job-filing data for sprinkler, standpipe, and closely related commercial tenant work.

02 · VERIFY

Manually reviewed means we check the displayed source identifier, address, filing/application date, current displayed status, and apparent scope relevance shortly before delivery.

03 · DELIVER

You receive three starter signals and two weekly updates. An update may report that no new matching records were found; we do not recycle stale records or lower the criteria.

Launch coverage

Two cities, not a continent.

City of Toronto

City of Toronto active building-permit applications, including explicit fire-upgrade and commercial-use context where published.

New York City’s five boroughs

NYC DOB NOW job applications, including filing status and structured sprinkler or standpipe work indicators where published.

High-confidence

Explicit fire-protection work plus commercial, tenant-fit-out, retail, office, industrial, or similar public context.

Review-required

A potentially relevant structured filing that needs your judgment because the public description does not establish the commercial context.

A paid demand test

Use the records before we build the platform.

We target the initial three-record brief within five business days after confirming your city and scope. If we cannot identify three records meeting the published criteria by then, we will cancel the pilot and refund the pilot fee. Commercial Opening Radar does not guarantee that work remains available or that a contractor has not already been selected.
